Yes, a Monofin is required to use the Mermaid Tail properly! The Monofin gives the ‘fin’ of the tail structure as well as providing more power to your kicks, making it easier to swim in. However, Monofins are typically a one-time investment – some customers use them for up to five years! – as they are one-size-fits-all and can fit into the ‘fin’ of every Mermaid Tail sold by Dream Blue. If you ever want to change or update your Mermaid Tail, you can purchase it separately knowing that your current Monofin will fit it perfectly!

No - our Monofins are one-size-fits-all with flexible bands that stretch for any size foot! They also provide an easy release by lifting your feet out of the two holes.

Yes! We offer a 12 month warranty on the monofins from the date of purchase.

The sizes of our Mermaid Tails correlate approximately with your child’s age, though they do run slightly smaller than average. We also have a size chart available here if you would like to double-check your child’s measurements against our sizes. The most important measurement when determining a good fit is the waist measurement! If your child is between measurements, we recommend sizing up so that your child gets the most use out of their tail!

The popularity of our designs changes according to the different sizes! For younger children aged 6-10, we’ve noticed that they love the Darya Rainbow, Talise Purple and Sirena Green Mermaid Tails. For customers aged 12-14, we’ve noticed that they love the Asherah Blue and Talise Purple Mermaid Tails the most!
